Simple Skills to Help You Set Boundaries, Choose Your Mood, and Navigate Family Dynamics During the Holiday Season
It has been an intense year, and we’re about to enter the last few months, which aren’t going to be any less intense. Between shopping, cooking, hosting, traveling, and an election that I think we all wish was over already, “the most wonderful time of the year” is also often the most stressful.
Good thing there’s something we can do about that.
I’m so excited to offer a new workshop series this November to teach you what I’ve learned about managing a roller coaster of emotions and stress with simple skills of mindfulness, supported with essential oils and acupressure. These are tools I’ve been using for several years, and I have been amazed at how resilient I’ve become.
That’s not to say that I never experience stress or anxiety anymore (ha!). It’s not to say that my life is smooth-sailing and I’m not anticipating some situations in the coming months I’d rather avoid (ha ha!).
It’s to say that with these skills, I know that I will be able to respond to these emotions and situations with conscientiousness and integrity toward myself and the people around me. I know that it’s okay to feel the stress and anxiety when I need to, and that I’ll be able to bounce back and move on within hours (maybe days, for something big) - not weeks.
These 4 hour-long workshops will teach you:
- How and when to use these simple but powerful skills of mindfulness for common holiday scenarios (but you can use them year-round in any area of life)
- Specially-designed essential oil recipes to support each of these skills (and discounts on essential oils if you don’t already have access)
- Acupressure point knowledge for dealing with common holiday ailments like headaches, anxiety, and ubiquitous Thanksgiving digestive issues like “food stagnation”
